History
Laubinger + Rickmann has been founded in 1972 by Harald Laubinger. While initially focusing on products for destructive material testing and furnaces, it expanded the activities over the years also on non-destructive testing (NDT) and other special machines.
Awards
On July 1, 2009 L+R has been awarded as "AREVA top supplier". In a ceremony in Berlin, AREVA, a world leader in energy technology, has awarded this for the first time to 141 of its total of 8,800 suppliers.
The award serves as recognition of the excellent relationship between AREVA and its suppliers. Criteria for granting the award were reliability and quality, know-how, innovative strength and long-term cooperation and good supplier relationships.
Since 1983 L+R and AREVA (resp. its predecessors) have been cooperating in the field of non-destructive testing.
L+R together with AREVA provide exclusively the inspection mechanics for the ultrasonic testing of components of the new Airbus A350 at the Airbus sites throughout Europe.
L+R has been awarded several times, most recently in the year 2008, in a vendor audit by the General Electric company. Each time the best rating A was achieved.
This award encourages L+R in its constant ambition to produce high quality products. It confirms the high quality of the organization, quality assurance and process management of L+R and is the basis for the extensive cooperationin the field of non-destructive testing, starting in 1982.
L+R together with GE Sensing & Inspection Technologies delivers inspection mechanics for customers i.e. in the aerospace and steel mill business.
In the context of the initiative Betriebsplusfamilie of the Steinfurt district L+R has been awarded for its family-friendly engagement in respect to its employees.
