The primary objective of our company is to supply our customers with products of the highest quality.
The following guidelines form the basis of our actions in this respect:
At the same time, we also see sustainability as an essential part of our business processes, based on responsible corporate management geared towards long-term value creation, which is expressed in the following guidelines.
L+R does not tolerate corruption, extortion and bribery. In particular, our employees, subcontractors or representatives should not offer, promise or grant any advantages to customers or suppliers with the aim of obtaining an order or other preferential treatment in business dealings.
Invitations and gifts should not be misused to exert influence. Invitations and gifts to customers or from suppliers should only be granted or accepted if the occasion and scope are appropriate.
Decisions should be made exclusively on the basis of objective criteria. Conflicts of interest with private interests or other economic or other activities, including those of relatives or other related persons or organizations, are avoided from the outset.
The remuneration and benefits paid for a normal working week correspond at least to the legally valid and guaranteed minimum. With regard to working hours, the respective national legal requirements are complied with.
We do not accept any form of child labor, forced or compulsory labor. Young workers in particular must be protected from performing work that is likely to interfere with their education or endanger their health or their physical, mental, social or spiritual development.
We do not accept any form of modern slavery. Any knowing use of forced and compulsory labor and any form of modern slavery and human trafficking is rejected. Employment relationships are based on voluntariness and can be terminated by employees at their own will and with reasonable notice.
We promote equal opportunities and equal treatment and prohibit discrimination in the recruitment of employees as well as in the promotion or granting of training and further education measures. No employee may be disadvantaged because of their gender, age, skin color, culture, ethnic origin, sexual identity, disability, religious affiliation or ideology. The working environment for all employees must be free from harassment. A social environment with respect for the individual must be promoted.
In accordance with national legislation, we respect the rights of employees to form an employee representative body and to engage in collective bargaining.
L+R complies with the applicable national environmental laws, regulations and standards. Furthermore, we strive to minimize environmental impacts and hazards and to improve environmental protection in our daily business operations. In particular, this includes reducing greenhouse gas emissions, increasing energy efficiency and increasing the use of renewable energy. Furthermore, natural resources are to be used responsibly and waste avoided.
L+R also expects its suppliers to comply with these guidelines and this is a selection criterion for procurement.
